2010 - 2011 European Learning Partnership
Moments, Places, Journeys was an international learning partnership with partner organisations from France, Wales, Portugal and Austria. Artists from our organisations were given the opportunity to get the learning they needed to create between them the social actions that make an impression on the public regarding the issues of marginalization explored with the specific communities that the learners were working with.
Starting initially in 2008 as a name for an informal European network of groups that Theatr Cynefin had trained in the preceding 8 years, The Republic of the Imagination then became a charity, and organisation in its own right, registered in the UK. TROTI for short mutated into The Academy of CoArts in 2020.
Caernarfon, Wales 2017
Mae Gen i Go’ was an Ideas, People and Places project for STAMP that Theatr Cynefin co-devised with long term partners, GISDA.
The main inspiration for Mae Gen i Go’, which translates into English as “I Have a Memory”, were the ‘Sensory Memories’ of Caernarfon – tastes, sounds, sights, feelings and smells of the near and distant past.
