We were commissioned to create a performance for the Conwy Food Festival in North Wales.  It so happened we had a Youth Exchange planned and so combined the two with the result was a performance cast with young people from all over Europe.

The audience traveled one at a time through the town experiencing sensory portals based on the sense memories of the townspeople - the smells, tastes, touches, sights and sounds significant for the inhabitants. The journey then took the 'hero' up onto the ramparts along which they met angels who explain to them the actual basis of those sensory portals.
