Locating sensory labyrinth theatre within immersive theatres' history
Congratulations Teri Howson, for the publication of this paper on slt in the journal - Studies in Theatre and Performance.
It’s been many years in the making and it’s very good news that Theatr Cynefin’s work is finally starting to register in academia.
Playing with the Present
From September 2019 and onwards Theatr Cynefin will be developing a Sensory Labyrinth Theatre event with Ebbw Fawr Community Learning Centre. Our Creative Partnership funded by the Creative Learning initiative of Arts Council Wales will focus on the neuroscience of well-being.
We will make regular posts over the period about the progress of the project.
Sense and Sensibility Toolkit
Instytut Działań Twórczych in Poland have put together this wonderful toolkit for Sensory Labyrinth Theatre.
Developed from an Erasmus + training project in September 2017 delivered by Bogdan Nechifor and Aida Sosic from Compania de Teatru Labirint. The toolkit features four chapters: a very insightful introduction to slt; some good ideas and examples of different applications; some simple excercises to try out and feedback from training participants and from audiences to the SLT developed at the end of the training.
Congratulations to all involved.
